Brindabella Airlines

From 21 November 2011 Brindabella Airlines will operate three return services between Brisbane and Tamworth on Mondays – up from the current two services per day on Mondays. This will bring Monday’s schedule between Tamworth and Brisbane in line with Friday’s schedule. All other services will remain the same.

This is good news for the Tamworth community which will have a greater choice of travelling times on Mondays. It provides Brindabella customers with more options for returning home from those weekends away; for doing business, or to attend medical and other appointments. It also allows for better connections for travellers between Canberra and Brisbane who go via Tamworth.

Our Tamworth / Brisbane service has been doing consistently well and is now a real foundation of our overall network CEO of Brindabella Airlines, Jeff Boyd said. We have many regular passengers and we feel that we are now part of the Tamworth community. We also connect Tamworth to Canberra with flights on Mondays and Fridays. This gives people from Tamworth and the surrounding areas two options for getaways, for visiting family and friends, for business, or even to connect to other flight services.

With the upcoming Tamworth Country Music Festival, Brindabella Airlines has also added additional flights from Canberra to Tamworth in January in anticipation of increased passenger numbers.

We are hoping that Brisbane and Canberra country music buffs will take the easy way to get to Tamworth for the festival in January. With Brindabella you are there in just over an hour, and that is a faster, better option than driving the long distances or travelling via Sydney Mr Boyd said.
