Brindabella Airlines' Canberra/Tamworth services are set to expand with the inclusion of Monday flights from 17 October 2011.

With Monday and Friday flights each week, passengers will now have more choices for their travel plans – and can travel more easily for those important weekend visits to friends and family.

The service has an increasing number of regular passengers and even though we have not promoted it heavily in Canberra or Tamworth, the bookings have been steadily growing since we commenced the operation earlier this year CEO of Brindabella Airlines, Jeff Boyd said.

Adding a Monday flight to complement the Friday flight gives passengers more opportunity to travel on their preferred days. We are hopeful that passenger numbers will keep increasing and, as they do, we will match that growth with additional services Jeff Boyd said.

Flying direct for 75 minutes is a lot better than driving 8 hours or going via Sydney. We think that Canberrans will increasingly take the easy way to get to Tamworth – whether it is for the Country Music Festival, for business or to visit family and friends. And we also hope that the service will encourage more Tamworth people to hop on board and visit Canberra! Mr Boyd said.
